A Cat Cafe Is Officially Opening In Melbourne
You best believe it. Melbourne is officially getting a Cat Cafe.
The confirmation came via the the Facebook page of Cat Cafe Melbourne, who have announced that they have officially found the purrfect premise and are aiming to open in July.
Cat Cafes were first invented 15 years ago in Taiwan, before then spreading to Asia and Europe. The cafes offer a place to interact with cats in a fun, social, and comfortable environment, not to mention that interacting with cats is scientifically proven to lower stress, anxiety and high blood pressure.
Cat Cafe Melbourne will be working with the Geelong Animal Welfare Society to select the perfect cats for the cafe.
