Coming directly from the CBS New York youtube channel. CBS New York presents the evidence that hundreds of people marched in Manhattan to protest the decision that a Ferguson, Missouri police officer won’t face criminal charges in the shooting death of an unarmed 18-year-old.CBS New York states “Hundreds of demonstrators took the streets Wednesday night to protest the grand jury’s decision not to indict Officer Daniel Pantaleo in connection with Garner’s death.
Protesters took over the roadway and stopped traffic on the West Side Highway and blocked the Brooklyn Bridge.
At Grand Central Terminal, demonstrators laid on the floor in the main hall during rush hour.
Hundreds also converged on Times Square and around Rockefeller Center where the annual tree lightning ceremony was taking place.
The grand jury’s decision also sparked protests around the country.
